וְאָמְר֞וּ אֶל־זִקְנֵ֣י עִיר֗וֹ בְּנֵ֤נוּ זֶה֙ סוֹרֵ֣ר וּמֹרֶ֔ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ שֹׁמֵ֖עַ בְּקֹלֵ֑נוּ זוֹלֵ֖ל וְסֹבֵֽא׃
at sasabihin nila sa mga matatanda ng kanyang lungsod: “Ang anak naming ito ay matigas ang ulo at mapaghimagsik; hindi siya nakikinig sa aming tinig; siya ay matakaw at lasenggo.”
Targum Jonathan
and say to the sages of the city, We had transgressed the decree of the Word of the Lord; therefore was born to us this son, who is presumptuous and disorderly; he will not hear our word, but is a glutton and a drunkard.
